As a newbie on this forum, let me ask what might be an obvious question. I just got a problem resolved thanks to an exchange with Jim Hillier about networking an XP system to a Win7 system. In responding to Jim's posts, I saw that I could click on "quote" to reply to him, which would incorporate his post in my reply. But I could not see any way to simply reply, without quoting his original post. What am I missing?

Directly above and below the topic there should be an Add Reply or Add Post button. Save function, but different name (at the moment). I'm working through some customizations and I'll get that corrected at some point in the near future.

Thanks for this clarification, Dave. I'm making this reply using the "add post" button that appears below the most recent comments. I had seen that before, but thought it was for a new posting on a new topic. As I moused over the button, however, it does say that it lets me post to this sae topic.

Well, just to confuse you even more… I found the locations for the button names in the files and now. All topic buttons should sport the fancy new tag of "New Topic" and all reply button should now be labeled as "Reply".
Well they will after I capitalize reply!
